Today, I'm thankful to live in a neighborhood with tons of kids.   My kids don't have any "best" friends here yet (yes, we are still missing those "bests" in MA!), but there are hundreds of kids within a short walk of our house.  I love that we can have impromptu playdates and walk 3 houses to a birthday party.  Both girls had friends over today and it was so nice to just say "hey, can you come over and play for a couple hours this morning?"  It was one of our many reasons for moving, and one of our reasons for choosing this house - to be in a kid-friendly and kid-filled neighborhood, so I'm just glad it turned out.
