The night our family reunion started gathering, we skipped away for a bit to watch Harriet test for her yellow sash in karate. She was extremely serious about practicing for it and I was pretty impressed that she was so confident and did her requirements and forms so well. She was so happy to move beyond the beginner white belt.
(I think it's so cool, that my little blonde girls find themselves in these big groups of karate chopping boys.)
